Colgate-Palmolive released their economic results.


Colgate-Palmolive Company (NYSE-CL) has recently released their economic results for the third quarter of the year 2018, which outperformed the analysts’ expectations. Revenue of the sector in skincare increased by 1.5%, which was however offset by 0.5% decrease in revenues from organic products. Management had to say this to the medias: “While the price environment is still difficult to handle due to the competition, we are happy that we managed to set acceptable prices in this quarter, which managed to partially compensate for the increased costs in terms of logistics and raw inputs. Company has had a total turnover of 15.454 billion USD in the fiscal year of 2017, with operating profit of 3.589 billion USD. After the deduction of all the taxes and other expenses, the net profit equaled 2.024 billion USD. Total assets of the company equaled 12.676 billion USD. Colgate-Palmolive has 35,900 employees.”
